2019 Toyota Camry
The 2019 lineup already brings the company’s new concept of Toyota New Global Architecture or TNGA. There are three engines available across this lineup, which includes five trims: L, LE, SE, XSE and XLE. As for the engines, there’s a 2.5L four-cylinder gasoline engine, a 3.5L V6 engine, and the THS II (Toyota Hybrid System). Tech features include SiriusXM® Satellite Radio with 3-month All Access trial, Entune™ 3.0 Toyota Connected Services, and more.
Horsepower ranges between 203 and 301, with 184-267 lb-ft of torque capacity. The fuel efficiency ranges between 8.1L/100km (city) to 5.7L/100km (highway), with small variations depending on the engine choice. All trims have an eight-speed automatic transmission. It’s a pretty roomy vehicle with enough head, leg, and shoulder space for everybody. Luxury features include a head-up display and textured metal interior trims.
2020 Toyota Camry
The eighth generation of one of the most loved family cars in North America brings a TRD performance model for the first time. This was the year when Android Auto finally became one of its standard features in terms of connectivity. There were no engine or capacity changes compared to the 2019 version, though. Conventional cruise control and lane departure alert are some safety features available for all trims.
All models have a direct shift eight-speed automatic transmission. There are seven trims available for this year’s lineup. The Nightshade and TRD are the new trims, with special features like an exclusive TRD start-up animation in its 4.2 inch TFT Multi-Information Display. The TRD also has exclusive instrumentation with red-illuminated accents. The Nightshade has a black rear Toyota emblem and “CAMRY” lettering in its design.
2021 Toyota Camry
The 2021 lineup brings the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ for the first time. The Safety Sense 2.5+ is the company’s signature driver assistant suite, with automatic emergency braking and many other safety features. Again, there is no news on the engine front, meaning that efficiency and capacity remain the same.
The technological part has been considerably improved, with new features like a floating multimedia screen. There are also new details available in the front fascia and wheels. The flagship model, TRD, is the only trim with Sport SofTex-trimmed front seats and a red-stitched TRD headrest logo.
